Annual Convention:
The highlight of our activities is the annual convention held every June in Pennsylvania. There are a number of different fun
activities. The convention features a Swap Night at which thousands of candy containers can be seen, bought, and traded.
Other activities include a Banquet at which a raffle is held on a rare candy container, after which the business meeting is held.
There is also a candy container auction, an informal Social Night at which special displays of rare candy containers are set up,
and workshops on reproductions and variations.
In addition, the convention is held in conjunction with the Eastern Pennsylvania Antique Extravaganza. This is an incredible
conglomeration of thousands of antique dealers spread out over several different towns in the area. It is an Antiqueer paradise.
During the day, the members browse the best antiques and collectibles in the country in the state where candy containers
originated. Finally, the convention is a great place to renew old acquaintances and meet new collectors. For an update on this
year's convention see: Convention News.
